Description Know the feeling? Just want to scream 'till you reach the bottom of your lungs. Just because. Life, Universe and Everything.......

NIW: I finally finally bought a Wacom. I threw away my mouse and expected life to be much easier from now on......
Guess what: a Wacom doesn't paint by itself, you still have to work hard..... In fact: it's even harder, because I was 'raised' with a mouse and now I've to learn to draw from scratch..
But after lots of screaming here it is: My 1st Wacom-experiment!

Whoa, your FIRST? DAMN! lol! I've been asking around about Wacom tablets... I see that they're very small. How does that affect the size of your drawing? I mean, can a small Wacom tablet only allow you to make small digital drawings? Forgive me if my questions are weetarded, I'm very tired.

Inches..... I think that must be A2? I have an A4 and on one hand it's comfortable although my arms sometimes aches from this loooong distances...!

Hi there, I just got myself a wacom tablet and I know what you mean... we're so used to a mouse... that pen in your hand is pretty weird! But I'm starting to get the hang of it already...

I want to get into drawing and illustrations.... do you have any tips/links for a beginner? and what program did you use?

Actually, she looks like she is screaming in a pleasurable manner, certainly not out of fear.
Just wondering, is this vector art (*couldn't be, the tonal qualities are too subtle, but...*)
I have a small wacom, it is a pain, probably the size is the problem. I can do so much more with a mouse,
it is much faster and more accurate.
Nice site, nice subjects as well as great artistic expression

No, it's not vector, just pixels.. Tnx for the very kind words and I'd say: keep trying with your wacom. A mouse is allright but there's one bigdisadvantage: it's not pressure-sensitive.......

Well..if u are used to paint with a mouse....you know it can be worse... And 'bout the steady hand.....if you practise enough your hand will go and your mind will follow... (not meaning that I'm there alredy...)

I think my mind already went, hee hee. I have trouble with my hands for various reasons, piano, typing, diaper changing for years on end...they probably just need to be strengthened. I drew with a mouse initially and did pretty good. Can't beat the precision of a pen though. Have you ever been to [link] ? It's a really fun game site sort of like pictionary, you draw, others guess, etc. Lots of talented folk there.
