oh god, my ability to write comments has completely died o___oDoumeki+Watanuki~ I drew this immediately after reading flakedice's fanfic "From Afar". Its soooooo sad and everyone should read it!! ;_; I'm so glad the other part was posted first and I read that beforehand otherwise I would have totally cried T_T

Bwahaha instead of wanting to cry at the first part of the story I wanted to cry at the end. It was so beautiful! and your drawing has so much emotion. Doumeki's face, you can see the frustration because of Watanuki not recognizing him. I just love this.

Wow! That's simply gorgeous! The composition is great: on one side there's Domeki, his expression conveying so much hurt that it's heartbreaking; on the other side there's Watanuki, completely unfazed by their encounter; all around are hundreds of faceless, meaningless people; and between the two men, the red ribbon of hitsuzen is stretching, stretching, trying almost desperately to hold them together... The fic is awesome, and your drawing is awesome as well. I love the artful use of colors for the characters' eyes and the ribbon. Moreover, Watanuki and Doumeki are so well drawn! The former looks especially handsome in his business suit...

This is gorgeous. I love the sheer amount of pain that Doumeki's expression conveys, and the contrast with Watanuki's own indifference to their meeting.

Ooooh! I just love it! It's wonderful how you've divided the image into the two perspectives! I just love that upset expression Doumeki's wearing and the look of unconcern that Watanuki has. You've just encapsulated the entire concept of the fic 
I really like the way you've drawn the crowd as well: each of the figures is almost inconsequential, whited out, but their outlines show that they're individuals as well. A lovely expression of individuality and uniformity as well.
And the use of colour for Doumeki and Watanuki's eyes and the red thread - it's really effective! More so than it would have been if it was entirely coloured.
