Description This is my rendition of 's beautiful photo. See her original work -- here --

I'm a relatively new watercolor artist, been trying it out for a few months, and I am IN LOVE with the media. I can't paint in any other media worth anything, so I'm so happy that watercolors make sense to me!

The colors are slightly brighter in the original, of course, and scanning took out some of the blue, especially in the snow.

The F word sounds like I am using it as a curse word or something doesn't it? It's for Favourites Was going for a catchy title and this is the first thing that came to my mind. The F word is a recent news article (this being the 3rd) I started where I ask my watchers (or random passerby if they wish to) to thumb or link their recent favourite two thumbs by artists in dA with a reason for why they like it. I have only a few watchers take part in it but I always make it up with my own hand picked favourites that I fave for quite a number of reasons. It could be the work is simply stunning, or humorous or just for the clever idea or the technical aspects, or the emotional background behind it, etc etc It's sort of as a this are some of my favourite works in dA and I would love to feature them since they deserve the attention for their work type article. Also I include some information around dA that some may find useful

Yes, at first I was scared of using wet on wet, but now I love it cuz it creates such cool effects You should keep trying it!

rontu rontu rontu roooooooooooooooooooooontu .......... i love it water coloring its one of mah faves (to see, i dont paint xd ) i just wanted to know , you pasinted all? cus the head it looks like if were the original but you turned to paint, you can do it in photoscape, if not wow

Yes, I looked at 's photo and painted it in watercolor onto paper (I did not use a computer program ) Watercolors are the ONLY color media that I'm good at using lol, and I'm trying to get better at it Otherwise I have to color digitally
