I've been wanting to draw this picture for a long time. And now that I finally got a new version of PS for my new shiny MacBook, I finally got the chance to draw it!This is a tribute to one of my very favorite Harry Potter characters. This is one of the first pieces I've ever done related to HP, and I think I'm going to try and do more. Obviously this is inspired by the incredible Severus Snape. I cry my eyes out every time I see the movie or read the book...Alan Rickman's performance just really hit home for me.
And I know this deer probably has anatomical problems, but it's all smoky and whatnot anyway, so that helped haha since I've never really drawn deer...I've drawn horses, but this was a first for me really. I had a lot of fun with this piece

I cried when I read that. And in the movie, I bawled my eyes out. Loudly. To the embarrassment of my brother. (who hadn't read the books)
I remember the ending of book 7 being such a shocker, especially after the ending of 6 and the introduction on 6. Wow.

Me too. I've seen the movie three times, and every time, I tell myself I won't cry, and I still sob from Snape dying to the end of the movie. What gets me the most every time is that shot where he's holding Lily's body and crying and Harry is in the background...aaahhh ;__;
I had a feeling Snape was good from the beginning...I'm so glad I was right!
