This piece caught my eye and it is wonderfully made! I love the shadings you made on the man's face, soft-shaded and I like how semi-realistic it looks! The shining detail on his earrings is also worth mentioning. The butterflies were drawn very well and I commend the details on their wings. Now for the things to improve on-

As I mentioned, I like how you stylized drawing his face, but that's not the case for the other parts of the subject. The rendering of the clothes seem lacking, especially the brown cloth on him, it doesn't convey the same beauty of shading in his face. Not that there's anything wrong with it, it is just a suggestion, unless you intend that the soft shading is solely for his face. The way you drew the hands is okay, the position is distinguishable and it's fairly hard to render those as well that's why you relied on some lines there, it's all good tho, great job. I also noticed that you added some cell shading, some blues. It was a nice touch to make it cohesive with the main color theme here. But I found the shading for his hair (located in the forehead location) quite sloppy. It could have been improved with a small clean up but all are good. And the background, it gives out the vibe that you want it to be a wallpaper of some sort. The colors are good, but the flowing lines or streaks could have been more magical or spontaneous by adding some glows, different opacities just to shout out the word "fantasy". 

Anyway, these are all suggestions! Either way, this piece was very beautiful and I also like your new shading approach! Keep up the good work and stay well! Hope I helped ^^

the soft approach did work!!! he looks so adorable!!!! and i love the butterflies !! so detailed !!    and the lineless approach worked so well too!!!       

(i kinda forgot the contest ends in a little over a week, haha XD)
