Description While we mourn Sridar's sexiness.

...

...

KAY I'M DONE.

This is Sridar Williams back when he was a squire, not yet a knight, back in the 1820s. Back when he was thin. And less uh...
...
"huggable."
Is a nice term for it.
There is a down side, however. He is far less mustached.

Still huggable, though... Ehr, okay, that snarkish face seems to suggest a million things that are not hugs, actually. Scrap that.

Mr. Williams gave out entirely different kinds of hugs at this age.

You paint a little similar as me, reason, you leave your lines in a multiply layer. Well at least this work. The look is very professional and quite free. I like it bcuz you work very clean. I need to leave more than 4 lines to get a ink-like border around the places i need to see

Yes, God save the Multiply Layer.
Thank you very much. Your work also looks very professional, especially your women.

Hehe, were he and Clive always partners? (if I have that right ffff?)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

squonkhunter In reply to iSpazzyKitty [2013-02-19 00:55:42 +0000 UTC]

Yes, they were assigned partners at the beginning and had to learn to work with each other, as Sridar was very sharp and somewhat volatile towards Clive, and Clive was not very good at his job and slow to learn. I'm planning to do a spinoff of their early days working together, as they had a very rocky relationship until they evened out and gained a mutual respect for one another.

squonkhunter In reply to iSpazzyKitty [2013-02-19 01:35:50 +0000 UTC]

Their first meeting was Clive accidentally tripped over Sridar, knocking them both down, Sridar bitched at him, and they later found out they were assigned to each other. Clive kept trying to be Sridar's friend but Sridar had a huge chip on his shoulder so he wouldn't even shake his hand in their introductions. Clive needed to open his mind a little bit too and shed the prejudices he'd been raised on.

So, Clive had some issues with Srider, too? Heheh.
*awkwardly, you two have been assigned fff*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

squonkhunter In reply to iSpazzyKitty [2013-02-19 01:51:33 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, mostly Clive's issue was he didn't know how to talk to someone who wasn't white so he'd be sort of tentative around him, which is already a mindset that further separates him. His biggest problem was that he let Sridar boss him around, which wasn't good for Sridar either. It wasn't until Clive stood up to him that Sridar actually respected him. Sridar needs someone who can hold his own and argue BACK, not someone who will take his shit. He liked Clive a lot more after Clive voiced his opinion and he was able to see him as a person capable of his own unique thoughts and not just some bumbling fool. Sridar after this felt more inclined to help Clive and, most importantly, to trust him on a mission where one man's life could be in the other's hands.

Ahhh, coolio! I love a guy who respects people for being their own person and not letting people boss them around. Sadly, I've met people who would rather you just be quiet and pretend they're always right. ><

squonkhunter In reply to iSpazzyKitty [2013-02-19 02:31:34 +0000 UTC]

Eck. That sucks. Yeah, Sridar needs argument and he needs to be challenged. It helps him realize what he believes in, when his views are challenged. He also sees Clive as a stronger person than he'd originally thought and this makes Sridar more confident because he realizes his partner is actually trustworthy and able to express his opinions.

iSpazzyKitty In reply to squonkhunter [2013-02-19 02:37:43 +0000 UTC]

Heheh, yeah... And cool, hehe. I'm not as used to argument as he must be, then lol. I'm so much more comfortable with a keyboard than in real life because irl, you don't have time to think and your brain becomes mush. Blahh.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

squonkhunter In reply to iSpazzyKitty [2013-02-19 02:44:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I fumble around when talking as well; I'm a much better writer than speaker. Sridar has a quick wit that I wish I had; he doesn't have that problem at all. I'm more like the stuttering Clive. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

iSpazzyKitty In reply to squonkhunter [2013-02-19 02:49:13 +0000 UTC]

Hehehe yeah. And if I get mad, in real life, it's just mush lol but if I'm writing it, I can choose to make it sophisticated and sound like I have points that kinda disappear irl. I'm such a grammar Nazi when I'm being serious.

Heheh yeah. I mean, I use emotes a lot when I'm playing, but I've had someone use just an emote to argue with me and I was just like.... "I would seriously think you were a troll if I didn't know you in real life. -_-"

Why, Clive's God! WHY?! *mourns*

Is it bad that when I saw the thumbnail thing, my first thought was "Why is Sridar cross-eyed in that picture?"

Alas he is not.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

squonkhunter In reply to Nicole-Lyn2 [2013-02-18 22:12:50 +0000 UTC]

Hehehe he DOES look a little cross-eyed in the thumbnail! He has certainly crossed his eyes in his youth, mostly at the stupidity of others, and sometimes when he's extraordinarily angry, the eyes sort of cross themselves.

I guess that'd be a good way to get people to leave you alone. Cross your eyes like you're in the midst of a stroke and have them run away to get help.
