Man, right? Apparently in THE FUTURE, all vampires will ave large butt-heads and wear lipstick.
Still, it had Wilma slutting it up and pretending to be a vampire--I swear, had I been 12 years old at the time Buck Rogers was new, her and Princess Ardala would have strapped jets to my journey through puberty.

Please do! The world needs more Wilma Deering art before the SciFi Channel gets their hands on the franchise and destroys her! I don't know if they have or will, but look what they did to Flash Gordon!!!
I don't know WHAT they were thinking in season 2. I'm guessing that season 1 came off too adultish, and it freaked out the executives, so they dumbed it down. Heck, they even changed Twiki's voice.

I'm surprised SciFi hasn't done anything with the property yet but only time will tell.
I was dissapointed with the Flash Gordon series myself. For me aside from the old newspaper reprints I grew up loving there was also the Filmation cartoon (which I also have on DVD and LOVE!). I wanted to see some cool even if cheesy sci-fi stuff along the lines of the movie (which I also dig!) but when I saw the tv series it just left me speechless. The only saving grace for me was the actress playing Dale Arden, she was easy on the eyes at least.
Yeah, Buck's second season was one big WTF moment for me too.

I would rather Hollywood/Vancouverwood make a good CG movie or series rather than a bad live action one. Perhaps that could be an option.

I always thought I watched that show for the cool sci-fi elements but being older now and owning the series on DVD I sadly realize that I just watched it to see Erin parade around in that tight blue outfit of hers.
