Wheeeee it's your cast! I mean, not that you *own* them, but... yeah, they're your cast. :-D Adorable Cosette in particular, intense Enjolras, and creepy NASTY Thenardier!!!

Wonderful!
I love how Thénardier seems to have managed to nab Enjolras' jacket in this production!

Aw, thanks so much!
I was so happy when I noticed JVJ's hand on Cosette's shoulder in the original poster - you're right, it's a lovely detail. I had great source material to work with.

Thanks! I think the poster I based this on, despite its couple of flaws, is one of the best Les Mis ads ever. They should do more posters with full casts in different productions!!

Google maps: It's there somewhere.
Sorry, I just had to put that since most of them are looking in a different direction. Awesome drawing by the way, quite close to the original. Also by the way, did you hear that the new Enjolras, Jason Forbach, in the 25th USA tour now has a small white stripe added to his hair, forced to do by some important guy. The man has brown hair so...he looks kinda like Sweeney Todd from the Depp movie.

Hmm, I should ask the actor if he knows since I'm seeing it in November. Yay! I've seen a high school production but there was a character missing, Grantaire. Weird. Stupid school production.

If you'll ever find out, let us know!
Also, Les Mis without Grantaire? Wow, that's odd. Who sung his lines?

Enjolras was the one to be, "Marius in love? OMG that's so funny. PS I hate opera." And they just recasted or deleted any other small lines he had example, "Lets give them a screwing they'll never forget" in 'building the barricade'. But I believe Enjolras was the one to sing his part in 'Drink with me'. So, Enjolras was more Enjolaire. Sad thing is that that was the first time I saw Les Mis so it took me a while to understand who Grantaire is.
But the really odd thing is that in other school productions normaly you would have Grantaire. But at my high school they delected him. Even though they keep the prositute song [I know you have to have it but still they could have toned it down], Madame Thenardier's 'bastard' and 'arse', and other small things.
Funny thing, there was an over lap in casting. The guy who played Enjolras was also the guy to be slapped by Fantine. And I figured that out without looking at the cast list.

I wonder what Grantaire would say if he knew about Enjolaire...
Grantaire's a drunk, I guess that's not "school-appropriate". Yet, there are prostutites. Oh, people.
Wait, Enjolras slapped Fantaine in 1822ish and then in 1832 he looks no older than in 1822ish. Hmmm, he's a vampire. Yep, vampire.

I saw Les Mis, they took away the sweeney hair.
The production was awesome! I meet some fangirls who liked my vest. I was wearing the red and gold striped Enjolras vest with 112 buttons I made. I also showed them my 9 Mis inspired dolls I would give to the cast later. I also meet Forbach when he was still in costume as Enjolras in the lobby. He was collecting for Broadway Cares. It was awesome, purely awesome.

The two girls were wearing vest they sewed to look like revolutionaries. I went up to them during intermition and complimented them, so they didn't see the crazy fangirl in the Enjolras vest till I went up to them. Also, picture of me and Forbach are now uploaded.
Side note: I found Tanz der Vampire drawings by you and checked out the cd and summery on Wikipedia. I quite like the cd even though I do not understand German and the main reason I bought it was because Steve Barton was on it, but anyway....

I've never listen to anything from the Broadway version, but I've heard it was horrible.

Yeah, I've heard that too... Luckily for me, there was that Finnish version based on the German original!

Although in the original recording in the ending song there was a few lines in english, it suprised me the first time I listened to it. "We drink your blood and then we eat your soul. Nothings gonna stop us; let the bad times roll." Weird how they have that....
