Description too lazy to think of a creative title. I sorry.

anyhow, this delightful little owldeer here, SoftWing, belongs to *sighthoundlady . he's such a unique and strange and lovely design, very much a joy to draw. I wanted to do more with real media (namely coloured pencils) and I had a lot of fun with this! I hope you like it, Jessica!

I'm not quite sure what I would do if I saw that in reality, probably check with a headshrink. It looks gorgeous, you really did the creature credit in artwork!.

I've always loved that character, and you did an awesome job of it (why you wouldn't I haven't a clue). Lovely colored pencil working, too c:

The first thing I thought when I saw this was : what a unique design! and I think you really captured it well. I like the happy little expression on his face, too! Also, I love how you draw deer legs! ;D

Oh wow! This IS quite a unique character here. Your rendition is pretty good-you've got some real potential with them thar pencils! *laughs*

*giggles* Your deer anatomy looks a bit like canine anatomy. But the wings are hella lot better than anything I can do, as is your canine anatomy (as well as what's drawn here), so I guess the joke's on me.

I look forward to seeing more of your work!

I know, I just adore his design and I'm really glad I got the chance to draw him!

it's funny you should say that, because I heavily used a ref photograph of a musk deer, since I wanted to get the details and the anatomy right. o.x; so I actually noticed all the differences. his knees are much higher than in dogs, and the body shape is also very different from how I would draw a canine's. but some influence of what you're used to drawing will creep in no matter what I guess! (I could still draw a deer and a canine side by side sometime to show you the differences, though. )

<3 it means a lot that you say that!

I can't take credit for his design as he is the intellectual property of *sighthoundlady . but he is awesome though isn't he?
