Description The Warriors, the Veribal.
Evolutionary path: Carnivore, Predator, Agressive, Military
Space Archetype: Warrior

The Veribal of planet Floria are ruthless in their quest for domination, but not so senseless they attack anyone and anything. Only allying with the most powerful forces, the Veribal will exterminate the weak, for only the fittest of the universe survive in their eyes, and if they must do nature's work, so be it. Many an empire has fallen to the might of the Veribal Fleet, consisting of the massive Graythorn starships. They have met the Grox, and have established fair relations with them. Once they have allied with the Grox, the rest will be destroyed, one empire at a time.

These are my farthest empire in Spore so far. I've gotten the Omnipotent Badge (highest rank) and have a 25 point relation with the Grox. 25! I'm only five points away from a blue face and trade route! That will let me plant an Embassy on a Grox planet, and combined with the trade route, the coveted Grox alliance will be mine! MINE!
Sorry, nerd talk.
Anyway, I have created Graythorn starships, and they are gigantic and destructive. They're one of my prized creations. I'll try to show you guys sometime.
Also, better angles on the Veribal and Gatorian soon, as well as a new Gatorian description more like the one here, with evolutionary path and Space Archetype.

Good luck allying with the grox. . . I heard that if you have other alliances they won't be allied with you anymore, don't know if that's true or not . . . I never tried XP

I'm at 33! I'm pumped.
Allying with the Grox earns you a -70 relation mod, so I'll pretty much kill anyone I don't want ahead of time and work the others up a little more. The smaller empires are pretty much gone; there's only a few of those left.

XD -70? Wow.
What have you been doing to get that from them? Giving them money?

Well, giving the Grox money only works a little bit (+10), but blowing up five planets, missions, and trade routes help.

Oh, well I guess if you had enough it'd work, if you're anything like me (I just save all my money, I have about 5 million sporebucks) But that's just me, I do a shitload of missions for people . . .

Yes, blowing up planets seems like it'd work. I'm surprised they did a trade route with you, though. Whenever I ask an ally to do a trade route, they refuse. Is that because I already have like, 5 trade routes? I wonder

Well, the face depends on what they will accept. You have to have a blue face to trade, and a green face to ally.

well, I only try to start trade routes once I have a green face, so I'm not sure why they refuse it.

That's what I assumed.

It's cool! All the spikes and the really sweet-looking horns~

I'm kind of confused though...a blue face? What? Isn't that what you get when you don't breathe??

Blue face...it's...complicated.

I've been waiting to see this thing. I must say, the way you told it to me, I imagined an upright crocodilian with horn-spikes running down its back. This is much cooler. One thing, though, Floria doesn't seem a very war-species name. Did you name the planet or do they just come with names already chosen? And exactly how big can you make the starships? I want the Vakon to have something massive.

I chose Floria because the planet is very, very green and lush, while the water is a crystal-clear blue. I thought it was quite beautiful, and then decided to put some savages on it.
They're not true savages, as they do negotiate alliances and do not have a pessimistic, destructive outlook on life. I imagine them to appreciate the arts and sciences.

Well, you can't actually make the spaceships huge, but looking at a Graythorn, you can't help but think "That must be a gigantic spaceship."

Ah, I see. So it's one of those arted planets, or was it just fully formed as that structure. Wait, can the artist planets even support life?

So all the parts are at a uniform size?

Beats me.

No no no, it just that the graphic on planets and stuff is always a set size.

Quite frightening, but their policies reminds me of someone in our history. Hmmm, now who could that be?

I need some thinking food.

I wouldn't compare them to Hitler; Hitler simply barged in the weak countries, then declared war on the strong countries. The Veribal chose smartly, and attacked when the time was right for them. Plus I don't just start wars for the heck of it. That's the Lann's job.

That wasn't the part I was speaking of. I was referring to exterminating the weak so only the fittest can survive. That's a bit more Hitler style policy.

Well, I guess so. They believe that of you're strong, you'll defeat them and yay life for you, you deserve their planets.

Well, that part certainly wasn't in Nazi ideology.
