Love this, Tom. What a great way to explore bio-armor!

Thanks so much, Rob! Speaking of armor, I need to check out your latest OpDS posts...I am waaaaaaaay behind on deviation responses. : p

This guy's stance reminds me of the Geckos from MGS so I'd like to think Bub here moos as well.

Thank you! I sometimes wonder about the extent of biomorphic influence on human artifacts...I saw some partially beaver-gnawed tree trunks down at the river a while back, for i.e., and my immediate impression was that this must have been the original inspiration for lodge/"totem" poles.

Hah, I'll have to see how it looks to me in a couple of days! XP I don't necessarily see Scraps as a pejorative designation, btw--probably 9/10 things I do end up in my Scrapbook. It's just a good place to consolidate all the stuff that hasn't been polished to a gleaming finish.

Hmm, probably about 15'-20' tall at the "hips."

Wow - learn something everyday! Callosities. Great job making it look balanced - looks like it could step off the page any second.

Thanks so much! I really struggled with the positioning of the legs and feet on this one, so I'm happy it reads as successfully "dimensional" for you. : 3

What size is it? I would have thought Right Whale sized, but if that was the case it wouldn't be able to support itself on land.
Unless it is only deployed in Swaps or Coastlines, and so wades...
Maybe the dense vegetation it's supposed to force through is a Mangrove derived aquatic forest barricade, connected by a clonal colony like Pando.

Oh, man, how big....Maybe....15'-20' tall at the "hips"? Not prohibitively massive for terrestrial mobility, but yeah, I did picture a primarily wading or "punting" locomotion in the water.
Did somebody say.....PANDO?
