Description
Another mysticete-derived Atlantean BUB (Big Ugly Biomachine), this one a sort of amphibious bipedal tug or barge or mobile traffic control platform with bollards or cleats or bumpers or anchors derived from right whale callosities. I could also see a militarized version with a more bludgeon-y head employed as a battering ram or mineplow, or for clearing pathways through dense vegetation.Callosity pattern reference photo from

Thank you! I sometimes wonder about the extent of biomorphic influence on human artifacts...I saw some partially beaver-gnawed tree trunks down at the river a while back, for i.e., and my immediate impression was that this must have been the original inspiration for lodge/"totem" poles.

What size is it? I would have thought Right Whale sized, but if that was the case it wouldn't be able to support itself on land.
Unless it is only deployed in Swaps or Coastlines, and so wades...
Maybe the dense vegetation it's supposed to force through is a Mangrove derived aquatic forest barricade, connected by a clonal colony like Pando.

Oh, man, how big....Maybe....15'-20' tall at the "hips"? Not prohibitively massive for terrestrial mobility, but yeah, I did picture a primarily wading or "punting" locomotion in the water.
