Description Panspermic river dolphin native to a world where vertebrates developed a body symmetry based on fore-and-aft bicephalization, obviously. I pictured the spine sort of gradually looping around the body in a helical fashion so that if you laid the animal out flat it would always appear to have one head "upside down" relative to the other. Originally I was thinking of basing this one on a penguin or some other animal, but a river dolphin just felt like the right fit for the erratic movement style I imagined, swooping back and forth with a lot of twisting and abrupt reversals. My one big regret is that the body appears stubbier and more truncated than I originally envisioned. I'm hoping we can be charitable and put that down to the way it's twisting here, though certainly there would be variation in body length and proportions with different species.

I once again feel like I should apologize to TheSeaLemon for ripping off the Amphisbauplan:

But I BELIEVE the original image flash in this case was inspired more by Amar, the two-headed Stage 3 dragon boss from Space Harrier:

Who knows, it's probably impossible for me to come up with a creature that DOESN'T rip off both TheSeaLemon and Space Harrier at this point.

(Also, I guess it's technically more of an Amphisboto, but come on, how could I resist?)

And again, because somebody always asks:

This would make an amazing statue. Not trying to put down the whole technical gene side of how it was created but the color combination to me just seems like it might be found in a museum! I may try to build this as long as you haven't put a patent down yet!Β Β
