Was this map ever used for the rpg it was written for? I really like the design of this map, and I as considering using it for a home brewed game.

This was created on the computer with Gimp - a free image editing program. I drew it from scratch using a Wacom tablet. If you're interested in creating maps then I'd highly recommend signing up at the Cartographers' Guild: [link] There's a ton of good tutorials over there for getting started in world mapping. I'd recommend this one by RobA (one of the members): [link]
