So it's been a little while since the last Flash game upload. Project Applo has been rolling steadily into completion, with the final polish pass now in full swing. My job on the minigames has been slowing progressively, and should hopefully kick back up to full when the game reaches its final release, and we can tack on more minigames as we get more players.
This minigame is a simple memory game. It's a spin on the usual 'card flipping' type of game, this time, you're digging up jewels. While the average gamer thinks "all right, I've got millions' of gold worth of jewels!" we always have to throw The Queen in as a wildcard to keep the game balanced. They're right. They do collect millions. But Queenie gets what Queenie wants. So the perk you get from sailing high on this game is pretty much equal to the perk you get scooping poop into a wagon.
Just one more minigame to go until all the entry-level minigames are complete.

Not bad in terms of art, I thought this game had potential, but it pauses too much and does not allow the player to click things fast enough. You should allow the player to make matches as soon as possible.

Ho god, I had a blast doing it on "#$%!" level. I managed to finish it with a 10 score at second try, thanks to a little bit of luck. It's tough, however; There's not many room to error.

Okay, I have a theory. The playback is set to 'stream' so it plays back in real time instead of playing every frame. If the framerate drops, it won't slow down, it will just skip the frames in between. I need to go into the code and make sure that if it 'skips' the frame that has the trigger in it, that it forces it back onto that frame...or...have it so the script to move it forward gets triggered in multiple areas to ensure it progresses.
Mind if I request a play tomorrow after I upload a fixed version, to ensure the fix works? Thanks.

I just got some more input on the matter, and it seems to be a problem specific to people who use Internet Explorer.
If you select 'Download' and try to play it from there, it should work. I attempted embedding it in its own HTML doc, and it worked just fine. So it seems to be an Internet Explorer specific hitch pertaining to deviantArt's own scripting; something's overlapping the scripting... Because it doesn't return you to the main menu, it reloads the whole Flash object.
This is very very weird. I'll have to experiment further with this...

I just hard-coded in some tweaks that should force you onto the next screen. I wasn't able to reproduce that issue at all, but if it was happening, it shouldn't anymore. Can you play it now?
