thats eactly what they are fgor.. those buildings were built in the middle ages (its in italy) and when they built higher they would fall in.. so they built these bridging arches across the streets to hold the buildings up! and im really glad you got the creepy feel.. thats just what i was going for! thanks!

Awesome idea! It captures the feeling of walking down those narrow canyon-valley streets with the mood of a dream: as if walking around the corner you will find yourself thrown into another world in the labyrinth.

how did you make this? I mean this can't be a real place on earth... But it looks so realistic.

If I lived there? I'd probably be afraid the bridges would fall on me, to be honest. I mean, I'd be like, "Holy crap, it's so beautiful!", but then I wouldn't walk underneath them.

hehe.. hadnt thought of that aspect until you mentioned it.. i think i would feel cosy and safe and then oscillate into feeling claustrophobic and hemmed in!

yeah, i originally was thinking of removing them carefully, the obvious focus was going to be the architecture. but then i realised that too.. they make it even eerier (is that a word i wonder) by being there!
