Even medics deserve some R&R.
Done for my good friend, ~Alycat , who needed a bit of a pick-me-up.
She loves Ratchet, so I thought that a pic of him actually relaxing for a change, would be a good idea. 
I decided that not all energon containers have to be cubes; perhaps they have tall "flutes" to hold the good stuff; I just bet Ratchet is something of a connoisseur.
Here you go, Aly! Hope you like him!

Heh, it's a very strong alcoholic drink; mixed with with vodka, 1800 Tequila, rum, gin, triple sec, sweet and sour mix and Coca-Cola. It's characterized by a very tall, narrow glass. XD If it's mixed just right, it actually tastes a bit like iced tea.

The texture in the background is a combination of a heavy rag, high grain chalk paper "canvas," high grain, low opacity airbrush, low opacity blunt chalk, using the photo burn tool and a glazing sponge.

Anyway, in all seriousness, I think he looks fantastic! I love how warm all the colors are, it really does add to the "relaxation" pose he has going. And I'd love to have a glowy drink, too, the whole concept is just wonderful. It's nice to see him all relaxed and hanging out with good company (I know they're just off screen), he deserves a break. And love, he deserves much love.

Yup, it's all digital! I used a combination of blunt chalk, glazing sponges, and opaque oil bristle tools in Painter IX. I LOVE that program.
