I'm always incredibly nervous drawing two people in one drawing because I am a very inconsistent artist. If I get one portrait right, will I get the other one to look decent? Nevertheless, despite this worry, I absolutely had to draw Newt Geiszler and Hermann Gottlieb together. They're my absolute favorites in Pacific Rim and their dialogue together is absolutely perfect! I usually don't pair people together but I cannot help but sort of ship these two. They're really so completely shippable.

Looking at this I'm thinking about going through and making touch-ups. But all in all I am pretty happy with how this turned out for a few hours on the pastels. Please check out my other art - this isn't the only Pacific Rim (or science fiction/fantasy) fanart I've done!
