Machines are everywhere... constantly... keeping close watch...My overdue commission/art-trade piece with
Coyote skull with Midnight Black/Blue KameleonKolor and Silver-chrome paints. This is one of those rare occassions of using automotive paints on the skull. Yellow LED eyes were installed for a ghostly headlight look. Very scary!!!
Photos were taken underneath my bed and on Rev's new hood. (Rev: Yay! I make such a good table!)

Hmmm, I wonder how much LED lights are cause I want to get a coyote skull and fox skull and put LEDs in their eyes, I had an idea of a really creepy costume, with a staff just as creepy (fox skull would be on the staff), for Halloween and for messing with some of my friends, or in even better cases, bible thumpers.

LEDs run about 50 cents a piece at Radio Shack if you happen to have one near you!

That is so cool, you're honestly making me become interested in looking into taxidermy. Although the fact that I nearly puked during frog dissection can't help.

once you get past the dead factor...it's easy sailing!
Start out with tanned skins (already soft, floppy and preserved like a blanket) if you don't like blood and guts.

I did a couple of experiments in making calf skulls into candle-holders just for that "glowing eyes" effect. This turned out so much cooler than my attempts with dangerous flame!

I could never get any *good* pictures of the candle-holder ones lit. I'll check the file ArkNorth is setting up for me - he took some professional-style photos of my bone art and he might have gotten something good of one of them lit... I just don't have any *good* pictures off hand of that.

may i suggest putting the lights further into the socket...so ya know...they don't stick out so much when you see it in daylight?

The lights kinda don't have any place to attach to if I put them in further. Unless I suspend them, but then there'd be a contraption in the eyesocket.
Yep... the mouth hinge isn't glued, so it has chompy powers!
I tried to robotize a fox skeleton.... never got it done... kinda gave up when I found out I had two sets of vertebrae.
