I'm a skull collector who's poor too! I got this specific skull from a farm, close to where I live. They raise funky goats!
I just got a raw skull, cleaned and peroxided it, then tribaled in india ink!

haha thats so cool that they gave it to you like that! I have a bed room that either resembles a hunting lodge or somthing out of the adams family lol, with the head, and the sculls haha most people are taken back when they walk into my room as it should be

Hahaha! My room's littered with dragon sculptures, skulls, taxidermy things, pelts....gawd! so much!
Taxidermy/dragon sconces on the walls!
I don't even have ceiling space because I hang things from it!

haha omg thats great your room sounds like mine! On my desk i have a huge dragon, and a moose. Then on my drawers i have a drgon light and a deer scull, then on my walls, heads and sculls, then on my bed... lots of fur lol. That is so cool

Perhaps it looks "best" because it is not a carnivore.... hmmm....

The skull itself has great dimension and depth to it though... more than the others, more snout and the eye sockets/brow bones protrude a bit more... that definitely helps...

The addition of having horns really throws it over though... makes it a lot more interesting and eye drawing... it really is a great piece, hope it sells well.
