Adult: Whytt’s probably one of the most easy-going stallions you’ll ever come across. He’s kind, forgiving and very respectful, eager to work and to please and very friendly. He is the first horse we’ll put young colts out with, and he can be trusted to behave like a gentleman around mares & fillies. Nevertheless, with all these good traits, it can make the wonderful boy seem a little boring. While he’s kind and affectionate, he’s also testing with how much he wants to please, and also obsessive when he like something – he has been found to annoy Bullet rather a lot (he idolizes his father more than we thought possible…)
Foal: Very calm and gentle, like his mother, and hasn’t taken much of his father’s disposition – just his handsomeness! He thrives on soft, calm words and strokes and praise, as well as peace and quiet a lot of the time, since he spooks easily if someone drops a bucket e.t.c.

The two easy-going characters get on well together and they’re forming a fantastic bond. Grant’s training over jumps as a two/three year old has helped him gain experience and skill in jumping which is being heightened at the moment.

History: Born at BS to Mal after deciding that BS needed a 3DE horse. Grew up well; was weaned at about seven months old and then moved into the field with Catch, and then the geldings (Lennie & George) until Rookie and Pal were old enough to share a pasture with him. He was mainly independent of the others, but began to idolize his father when the stable block was updated and he was put across the aisle. He was given basic jumping training as a two/three year old by Grant, and broken in just as he turned four. Whytt was a slow grower, but grew rather large as he turned three, and has finally – we believe – stopped growing.
