This is based on a headcanon of a friend of mine, , and what dresses the Hetalia Girls would wear in a formal setting.You could see the information based on this picture (which is more like a sketch) in her journal: [Click Here]
I think I didn't do a well enough job of it-- but trying to imitate lace is difficult. The lace brushes that I have found don't give the dimensions that I wanted on her dress.
Maybe I'll do the other girls.......

I was attempting to make her look as subtly bored as possible because formal events (or any events that would have to do with socializing in general) are not really her cup of tea. I imagine her to be like an old man (old woman?) who doesn't like to get out of his house often and just rather sit in the park people-watching.
Taiwan probably begged her to 'join in the fun'.
Of course, she would pick the most moderate dress she could find, though young people in her house nowadays show a bit more skin often.

Her bun took some time to draw (because I'm not sure how to draw it on Vietnam) and I'm glad you like her dress ^^. It took me forever to get her to look natural in that pose-- I kept questioning myself 'why in the world did I put her in this pose?!' but I'm glad it turned out okay for you. ^^

I've saw Vietnam going for an bun if she were going to be formal. I actually can see her facing the opposite direction with her face slightly showing to the viewer, while posing such an way.
