I wish I had something appropriate and personal to say, but the truth is that the right words won't come out. So I shall share the words of his family instead:"For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.”
Goodbye, Neil Armstrong. You were my first, earliest, hero. Be at peace.

I remember the moon landing like it was yesterday. My mother made my sister and I come inside from the pool to see it, and will be forever grateful she did, even though at the time I did not want to go back inside the house!
