I finally have some time now to focus myself on art, so here is a new feather painting
A Scarlet macaw on 3 green-winged macaw feathers. I used one of my crappy zoo pictures as a reference.
I painted with acrylics, so it's a bit different in the picture. I spend about 5 hours working on this one.

They are held together with a thin layer of paint
But immediately after the painting dried I'd put it in a frame.

Yes I was thinking about that too, but i'm so damn busy with things and those paintings are really time consuming.. But maybe one day i'll open a shop haha

with a few layers of paint.
The head part is very fragile, because the feathers are only hold together on like 1,5cm. But the wing part covers more, so that's pretty strong.
Also on the back part I sealed them together with white paint.
And I put it in a frame immediately xD
