Abby: “Hey, James?”
James: “Yeah?”
Abby: “How come you‘re sad?”
James: “I‘m not sad…”
Abby: “Yes you are. You look like I did when you bought me and took me away from my mommy… only you‘re not howling all night, like I did.”
James: “No, I‘m not sad; I‘m just… down right now.”
Abby: “You taught me what ‘down’ means. It means I need to stop jumping up and pawing at people. Did someone tell you ‘down‘ because you were pawing somebody? Was it that pretty artist you used to work with?”
James: “No, I haven‘t seen in a while. And I never pawed at her, Abby.”
Abby: “So you only stared?”
James: “Yeah.”
Abby: “Did she ever catch you?”
James: “I think so.”
Abby: “She‘s pretty, so I’ll bet she‘s used to it. Anyway, why are you down? Tummy upset?”
James: “No, my stomach’s fine.”
Abby: “Mine‘s not; I made a big poo poo!”
James: “I was there, remember? When you did your business in the front yard?”
Abby: “Uh, yeah… that‘s what I was talking about… the front yard.”
James: “Wait a minute-”
Abby: “Never mind! Um… are you down because you haven‘t been writing a lot lately?”
James: “Actually, that’s a big part of it. I’m trying to put together a scene showing what Connie did during the ‘RIP Angel Falls’ storyline, and I need to finally finish writing a segment for the ‘Hero Reborn’ series.”
Abby: “For your friend, ?"
James: “Yup.”
Abby: “She’s nice.”
James: “Yeah, maybe too nice. I think I upset her when I was talking politics a couple days ago…”
Abby: “Probably. You can be a big meany sometimes, and bark louder than I do when the kitties all jump up to high places where I can‘t get at ‘em.”
James: “I really should apologize to her…”
Abby: “Like I apologize to the kitties? Are you gonna lick her so her fur stands up funny?”
James: “I really doubt I’ll be doing that, Abby.”
Abby: “You should have make a picture for her to show you‘re sorry! Is he still taking commissions?”
James: “That’s not a bad idea, and yeah, he’s still open for commissions. probably is too, now that you mention it.”
Abby: “Neat! So, when are you gonna post a new story?”
James: “I have tomorrow off, so maybe I’ll get something finished then. Still…”
Abby: “Uh-oh, there you go, getting down again.”
James: “Well, I’d just like to have more people read my writing. Maybe I should get a Tumblr account to help me network…”
Abby: “But you don‘t know anything about that, do you?”
James: “Not really.”
Abby: “You don’t even have a cell phone, and can barely use Twitter, huh? And you’re afraid of Facebook, too.”
James: “People who say the things I do should be careful when it comes to putting information about themselves online, Abby.”
Abby: “Because you’re a meany who barks about politics, I remember that part. But if you want the Crimson Conservative to be famous, don‘t you have to put yourself out there?”
James: “I suppose…”
Abby: “But that’s scary?”
James: “Yeah.”
Abby: “As scary as the garbage truck? Remember the first time I saw it, and I ran away so fast that I crashed into the front door?”
James: “Y-Yeah…”
Abby: “Don’t laugh! It was gonna get me!”
James: *Snort*
Abby: “Meany!”
James: “Sorry…” *Snort*
Abby: “So, how are we gonna end this interview?”
James: “I don’t know, this was your idea.”
Abby: “Um… let’s end it by… taking me to go poo poo again!”
James: “I hear that’s what guests did for Larry King towards the end of his run on CNN. Okay, let’s go…”

So, should I figure out how to network online more? Would that help popularize the Crimson Conservative, or just take up more of my time? I’m also trying to get a sword and sorcery novel written, and have to get some things together to have copyrighted, so I don‘t know what to do…
Anyway, go commission or , and see what and her great literary creations are up to. And yes, Olga, I’m sorry for being a little too much, well, myself lately.
Also, that is an old picture of my dog, who is--at least physically--no longer a puppy.Comments welcome, especially if you’d like to volunteer to clean up after Abby for a while…

and i really, really enjoyed reading this. personally, i think tumblr would be a good way to get your work our there. granted, people on there tend to be... liberal. i'm not sure if it's better or worse than deviantart. i would just be a little guarded for the time being.

Instead of you, Connie should have a Facebook page. No background just observations on current events or politics in general. I would get Connie a gmail address to open the page so your address isn't inundated by the inevitable hate mail.

It's funny, you two are kinda like Batman and Ra's al Ghul, both with a mutual respect for each other even if you differ completely. (Yeah, I got bats on the brain, heh.)

I’m almost sorry I mentioned it, as she was just upset about the shooting being politicized, and what do I do in my latest journal? I jump into the politics of The Dark Knight Rises with both feet.

Yeah, that shooting was some seriously messed up business. Not an opportunity to bash Obama or the NRA or whoever, just...man, WTF. The most disturbing part of it to me is the guy was a medical student with a promising future and no warning signs...
Really sick stuff. And those poor people in Colorado, not, what, 15 years after the school got shot up? And right on the heels of a massive wildfire? It's sad, there's no denying that.
On a lighter note though, glad you do get along, out of character.

As I said elsewhere, here‘s the liberal media math: Rush Limbaugh mentions movie + theatre where movie gets shown is scene of violence = Rush Limbaugh is guilty of murder. 
I can’t recall if it was a senator or congressman from Colorado, but yeah, they’re already using this to push for more gun bans.

Don`t worry about I am sure deep down she knows you didnt mean what you said when you talk politics. Sometimes it can get heated. I suggest to talk to her and dont mention politics then you can both feel better in the long run.
