Here it is, the scene that all you loyal Deviants voted for!
Based on the scene in the vovel where Alan Grant (played by Sam Neill in the movie) outwits and outruns stray Raptors in the hatchery.

This looks alot like the raptor hatchery they have in the Visitor's Center at Universal's Islands of Adventure here in Orlando. I love the shading/color on the raptors.

Cooool, not to be a total nerd, but in the novel Alan had a beard to resemble Jack Horner didn't he? The raptor licking the egg reminds me a lot of the one licking the ladel in the movie

I can't draw dark style images for the life of me! :lol I always imagined the scene to be misty and blue because of the chilled hatcheries and UV lighting, but I couldn't make it work as a drawing

I actually imagined this in a totally different way. My vision of this scene was really dark, with the ultra violet lighting as the only source of light. But your version is quite nice too. I like how you've done the Raptor's poses.

Thank you! I was going to have ultraviolet lights, but the purple just looked too bright so I downgraded it to infra red instead

Horible but true - he used one of the neuroacting medicines / chemicals in the Hatchery to poison the egg. If he'd covered it in chocolate, the Raptor would have got there twice as fast!!

If dinosaurs were still alive. I'd hunt them (Except the Rex and Compys.)
I'd collect the Skulls in a similar fashion to the "Predator".
