He kind of looks old, as if is trying to say:
"In my days we didn't have these geynetics technology! If we wanted to learn something we had to dig in deserts. Sometimes we searched in Sahara for a month or two only to find a fragment of an Ouranosaurus spine! Ahh... those were the days..."

Good ol' Dr. Grant is the reason I plan on getting my PhD in Paleontology (that is, after I get into college). I also have a Fedora. It may technically be an "Indiana Jones" one, but it passes for the hat that Sam Neill wore in JP3.

Awesome, he was probably the best actor i reckon in the movie as well as Jurassic Park 3 as he did not return in The Lost World like Ian Malcolm did.
