Okay...so...probably over a year ago, I decided to create an AU where these two were fucking. And then it evolved more and more and I got more and more attached to them and now I think about them all the time. Yet I can't truly say they're canon because I feel like that would make the overall dynamic of this OC group kind of weird, so I'm not properly committed to doing that...but I really like them together so I'm letting the world see them. I haven't drawn Jackson publicly in a long time because he's very personal to me but I guess I will be starting to do so again.

I like the drawing overall. The shading isn't perfect as usual but for the most part I quite like it. The most frustrating part of it is Jackson's hair. Shading multicoloured hair is a bit of a pain in my style but it usually isn't too bad because like, with Darren for example, the different coloured section is fairly large and easy to work with. But with just short tiny areas to shade, like what Jackson has going on here, it's really difficult for me to do it right and I don't like the lack of contrast. I mean look at it compared to Summer's hair; it barely looks shaded at all. Frustrating. The hairstyle, however, I like a lot. I feel like I don't do enough unique stuff with his hair. He canonically changes it up quite often, yet this fluffy mohawk style is usually all I can come up with. I had never thought to do those little bits at the side though, which I think adds uniqueness to it and it suits him well. I have some fun ideas for the next time I draw him too, though I don't know when that will be...he's a tricky one to work with sometimes lol. We don't need to talk about the tattoo (I know I did the guitar head wrong...literally every time I draw a guitar I do that...) so we won't. I like the shading on his piercings--also look, I'm finally drawing his eyebrow piercing correctly. I've known for a long time that I was doing it wrong but I was committed to consistency for some reason. His gauge isn't very interesting but it is cute. I gave him a fun and funky new vest too...may have gotten a bit lazy on the details...but you wouldn't be able to see much from the side anyway. It's punk rock enough okay. And Summer...well, she has the same outfit she always does lol. I am fond of it and she is comfortable in it. I'm really happy with her hair. Aside from the very top; that's a little wonky. Otherwise though, it looks so thick and I'm very happy with the curls.

Anyway this is basically an AU but I think it's cute so enjoy it.
