What an odd title for a drawing with only two people...well, here we have a partial set of triplets! My beloved OC Sanit has been a triplet for many many years, but while his brother and sister are very important parts of his life, I never actually...named them...or drew them...for like 8 years now...but at last I have rectified this! Here we have Phaibun and Rawi Bamrung!

Phaibun is actually in her business attire here. She usually tends to wear her hair down when she's not working...but I thought that would look boring, so I did her hair up and put her in that fancy purple dress. She's a very professional lady. I'm really happy with how the jewelry came out...the colours on the earring and necklace are maybe a bit more dramatic than they should be, but I think they look cool. I really like how she looks in general actually. I struggled a lot with her face shape while I was sketching for some reason, and her bun looked pretty bad at first too, but once I moved it lower, it started to work a lot better. I'm glad I have this proper design for her and she's not just a vague blob in my head anymore.

As for Rawi, wow, he was really a vague blob in my head before this lol. I feel like I just used to picture like...a more masculine Sanit or something. I didn't entirely love what I did with his face during the sketch but forced myself to accept it and now I really like it. Same with his hair actually...I didn't really have any ideas for what to do with it, so I just looked up random short hairstyles--the one thing I did know was that I was going to make it short--and just kind of went with this eventually. It was a nightmare to get right, and I wasn't even sure if I really liked it but I just kept going because I had no other ideas. I'm so glad I did that in the end because after spending over 17 hours on those doodles over on my Tumblr (I wish I was joking about that length of time), I absolutely love it and I think it suits his vibes perfectly. The tattoo was another kind of quick choice. I randomly decided I wanted him to have a neck tattoo but the only design I could think of was Frank Iero's scorpion and I was not going to blatantly copy that lansvjdfnkjvdf...I poked around for tattoo ideas and came across snowflake tattoos...and I thought that would be so fun, like him giving the finger to those annoying conservatives who insist on calling everyone requesting basic human rights and common courtesy a "sPeCiAL sNoWfLaKe" lmao...so he has a badass skull snowflake tattoo. It looks kinda weird I'll admit. Maybe it won't be permanent idk. I like the idea though and I definitely want him to have a neck tattoo, whatever the design may be. His shirt is pretty boring...I wasn't sure about the grey but, again, I had no other ideas, so I let it stick. I mostly pictured him in black actually, but Sanit usually wears black shirts and I didn't want them to match quite that much haha.

The naming process was so interesting because like...I narrowed Phaibun down to two names SO fast...like probably by day two or three I already had it down to either Malee or Phaibun (I do really like Malee...might use it for another OC at some point idk)...and then with Rawi I narrowed down his list, realized I didn't love any of the names left, added more, narrowed it down to two, realized I didn't like either of them, added MORE names, and finally saw Rawi, which I think suits him well. I don't know why it was so hard for me. My options were limited in fairness, because I had already decided I wanted them all to have two-syllable names and I wanted them to all sound good together, so that took out quite a few good contenders. I was quite fond of Makok for him as well, but I couldn't find a reliable pronunciation of it so I gave up on that one. Either way, Rawi and Phaibun are lovely names I think. Lovely names for a lovely family. Having OCs is the best.
