I dunno about before, but I've been reading Rebirth and Cass hasn't really said a whole lot.

I hate this "Orphan" character so much she got nothing in common with the old Cassandra.. heck even her body reading ability they way they draw it makes her look more like Karnak

When I find something like that I tend to just think of them as a different character altogether. In some cases, it really is. One thing though is that Cassandra is a fairly new character compared to a lot of characters existing in DC, under eighteen years have passed since she was made, and compared to Batman, it would be around a decade prior to the Adam West TV show with him. And I mean, by that time, Bruce's backstory and personality had all but been set in stone, sure, but there would have been a few liberties taken with the character in the time that would have led to something fans didn't necessarily agree with, and that back then, you might not have agreed with either.
All I'm saying is that while you may not like the new Cass, being new to the comics I can't say I dislike what I've seen up to this point, and maybe you should, just for a bit, because knowing DC when people complain they buckle under in everything but their movies, their god-awful movies, forget about who you want her to be and let the new character be.
