Heh, my comic character Zeff, lookin all cool with is weaponry! I decided to make it look all sketchy and pencil drawing like. Kinda a change of pace from all my really finished looking anime pics.Done in Photoshop CS w/ WACOM 12x12

Oops. I was actually trying to make the guns H&K USPs... 
Yeah the story keeps changing (at least the details)... and I'm not sure if I will ever have the time to sit down and make this comic. The idea is rather ambitious for me, because the comic would require quite a few installments (5 or 6 comics at least) And while I have time now, once class starts up again I'd be too busy. Yarg...

I like it. The character design is really nice and I like the muted colors. With the background slightly fuzzy it adds a nice depth of field effect too. So what is the general premise of your comic?

Lets see... the comic is kinda dark. The other main character is Cutter (name will prolly get changed 
Cutter and family crash in a desolate cornfield. This field happens to belong to Zeff and family. The explosion awakens them and they go out to see what crashed behind their house, they are surprised to find an alien craft! After much confusion and fear Zeff’s family hears Cutter’s family’s story, and agree to give them shelter on their secluded farm. The aliens live on earth on the farm, and help Zeff’s family work their land… Cutter and folks are scared to radio their home world in fear that they would be killed if their enemy discovered them. So they decide to hide out on earth. Over the years the two families become very close friends. Zeff and Cutter are similar in age and become really good friends. Except Cutter’s brother doesn’t seem very happy… and doesn’t like Zeff very much.
Cutter’s older brother seems to hate earth and humans… one night he decides to use the ships beacon to try and be found and taken from earth. As it turns out there are other aliens living on earth, the enemy nation set up colonies on the planet with plans to take it over! These other aliens realizing their political enemies are on earth, they dispatch a squad of troops to the farmhouse. Zeff and Cutter are gone when the troops arrive at the house… they kill Zeff’s parents and capture Cutters family.
When Zeff and Cutter return to the house, he finds his parents dead, and Cutter’s family missing! Zeff swears to get revenge, and help Cutter find her parents and brother.
Anyway… that’s just the start. They later discover the plot of the other aliens to take over earth and enslave the humans. Also Cutters brother betrays them and joins the enemy (when they later find him). So the comic is mostly going to consist of Zeff and Cutter trying to stay alive and search out her parents.

And thanks for your compliments on my story! This comic, at least the idea has been in the works for over 8 years!! (started workin on it back in middle school!) and I think I finally like the most recent version of the story... so now all that is left is to make it!

Sweet piece...sketchy work is awesome...I think sometimes it conveys so much more than perfectly finished pieces. Anyways, this is an awesome picture...I like the pose and the design is really cool. Great paint work in the background too...I like.
