Description When I discovered my manuscript was stolen back in February, I wanted to smash things. Instead, I drew an angry Ellis. (I'm sure my electronic devices appreciated this. )

Since my usual painterly style takes so long, this was my attempt at soft cell shading. He's a bit shiny-looking, but I'm overall pleased. I've also never drawn a horse from the back-view before, so this butt-kicking Ellis was quite a challenge for me.

It's said that the horse is one of the most difficult animals to draw... And hell you did great xD I love the anathomy and the dynamic pose, and the shading is pretty cool too. The only thing I think could be a little better is the lineheart (did I write that well? D: ), which being fine looks too solid, so thick and without different thicknesses.

But that doesn't change the fact: This is cool n_n keep up the good work.

True--you are absolutely correct! I started the lines thicker than I intended, realized it too late, and then considered scrapping the entire thing, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to pull off those tricky legs again. I eventually decided I would just have to live with a chunky-lined Ellis this time around. (Lesson learned!)

Good eye! And thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it. I'm eager to try lineart on Sai. From what you were all saying, I'm hopeful I'll be able to achieve better line-thickness variation using that program instead of Photoshop.
